An agreement has been temporarily suspended

Due to the problems faced by the Iranian authorities, the issue of a new comprehensive cooperation agreement between Moscow and Tehran has been temporarily suspended.

Axar.az reports that Zamir Kabulov, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said this.

"This is a strategic decision of the leadership of the two countries. This process was stopped due to the problems experienced by our Iranian partners," Kabulov said.

Iranian authorities have not commented on this yet.
