The US sanctioned 18 companies in Turkiye

The USA imposed sanctions on 18 companies registered in Turkiye as part of the expansion of restrictive measures against Russia.

Axar.az reports that the US Ministry of Finance has released information about this.

Companies are registered in different cities of Turkiye, most of them are located in Istanbul. There are companies from Antalya, Konya, Ankara, Bursa. Some of the companies included in the list are engaged in import and export of goods of various purposes. Two of the companies are shipyards that service or build marine vessels. Several companies provide industrial equipment for various purposes and components, as well as service units in industrial facilities.

The list also includes a company that provides medical equipment, chemical reagents and materials for biochemistry.

It should be noted that in May, the US Ministry of Finance imposed sanctions against 17 companies registered in Turkiye.
