Anomalous heat prevailing in the United States will cover 270 million people by the end of the week.

Axar.az reports that it is predicted that the temperature will reach its highest level in the Central West and North-Eastern regions of the United States from Tuesday to Friday.

According to the information released by the US National Weather Service, this will be the longest anomalous heat in recent decades. It was reported that record temperatures of 32 degrees and higher will cover about 200 cities of the United States.

Forecasters said that such weather is usually recorded in mid-July.

Experts have warned that the anomalous heat will intensify.
