Tomorrow, EU climate action commissioner Vopke Hekstr will be in Baku to hold meetings related to preparations for the COP29 conference to be held in the country in November.

Axar.az reports the representation of the European Union in Azerbaijan, Commissioner Hekstr will meet the President of COP29, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev and representatives of COP29. He will also hold bilateral meetings with Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.

The commissioner will also exchange ideas with representatives of civil society in Azerbaijan.
