During the pre-election television debate, the lawyer of presidential candidate Masoud Pezeshkian, Mohammad Fazli, protested against the opposing side by removing his microphone and throwing it on the studio floor.

Axar.az reports that Shahab Isfandyari, who participated as an expert in the debate, mentioned that Mohammad Fazli had been removed from the university and professors' list for violating the rules. This action undermines the status of higher education.

Fazli accused Isfandyari of lying and spreading falsehoods. This led to a dispute between the lawyer and the expert. The host turned off both of their microphones. Despite Fazli's request to allow his lawyer to respond, the host ignored it. Following this, Fazli stood up, removed his microphone, threw it on the floor, and left the debate venue.
