More than half of those who died during the pilgrimage were unregistered pilgrims.

Axar.az reports that "AFP News" published information about this.

It was reported that the pilgrims going to Hajj through irregular channels could not enter the air-conditioned tents and buses.

According to information, 1,081 pilgrims, including 658 Egyptians, more than 200 Indonesians, 98 Indians, and 49 Tunisians, died due to high temperatures during the pilgrimage.

The dead include citizens of Pakistan, Malaysia, Jordan, Iran, Senegal, Sudan, the Kurdistan Autonomous Republic and the United States.
