The US has sent Abrams tanks and other armored vehicles to its new base in Poland.

Axar.az reports that the Pentagon's official "Stars and Stripes" publication published information about this.

"The first tanks and equipment that can supply the entire armored brigade have been sent to the new base in Poland," the information said.

It was reported that 14 "Abrams" tanks and M88 maintenance-evacuation armored vehicles were sent to the new base in Povidze.

The US command wants to increase the number of tanks at the base to 85.
