The National Unity Party led by Marine Le Pen and its allies won the first round of parliamentary elections in France with 33.4 percent of votes.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the information of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to information, the left-wing New People's Front took second place with 27.98 percent of votes.

French President Emmanuel Macron's coalition came third with 20.76 percent of votes.

It should be noted that the second round of elections will be held on July 7.
