American F-16 fighters can be deployed in Ukraine not in the summer, but in the fall.

Axar.az reports that "Welt" published information about this with reference to the head of "Turn Around Alive" foundation Taras Chmut.

The article mentions Ukraine's recent attacks on positions of Russian air defense forces in Crimea and on Russian territory. Among them, the destruction of the Center for Space Tracking and Long-Range Space Communication is shown as an example.

The US Institute for the Study of War believes that in this way the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to "clean up" Russian air defenses before the arrival of the F-16, so that the pilots do not work in dangerous conditions.

It should be noted that the Netherlands is expected to deliver 24 F-16s to Ukraine in the near future.
