The Israeli side received an answer from the representatives of the HAMAS movement about the hostages through mediators.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a joint statement by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office and the Mossad intelligence service.

"Israel is currently assessing this and will convey its response to the mediators," the statement emphasized.

It should be noted that on May 31, US President Joe Biden announced the terms of a new draft agreement on a three-stage peace settlement in Gaza. On June 11, Hamas announced that the response to the initiative had been passed on to mediators from Qatar and Egypt, and that it was ready for positive actions to end the war in the enclave. The United States, Egypt and Qatar, in turn, confirmed that they had received a response to the ceasefire proposal and promised to continue mediation efforts until an agreement is reached between the parties to the conflict in Gaza.
