The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, congratulated the newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian and called on him to use numerous opportunities for the comfort of the people and the progress of the country.

Axar.az reports with reference to Modern.az that in his message, Khamenei thanked all the candidates who participated in the elections and the activists who voted.

He said that the officials participating in the organization of the elections performed their duties with due speed and full confidence.

According to the Supreme Leader, the enemies of the Iranian people wanted to create an artificial uproar, such as boycotting the elections, in order to make people desperate and desperate, but they did not succeed:

"The people of Iran have elected their president. Congratulating the people and the elected president and all the activists of this sensitive scene, I recommend everyone to cooperate and think well for the progress of the country. During the elections, it is appropriate that competitive behaviors become friendly norms, and that everyone should do their best for the material and moral well-being of the country.

I also recommend the elected president Masud Pezeshkian to follow long and bright horizons with trust in the Most Merciful God, to take advantage of human resources, which are one of the many opportunities of the country, especially young, revolutionary, and at the same time religious resources, for the comfort of the people and the progress of the country, following the path of the martyred Chief.
