The new prime minister will release 40,000 prisoners

The new Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, plans to release 40,000 prisoners due to prison overcrowding.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the British Ministry of Justice.

The decision is planned to apply to criminals sentenced to imprisonment for less than four years.

It should be noted that the Labor Party of Great Britain won the parliamentary election for the first time in the last 14 years.
