Pezeshkian's resignation will be discussed on July 31

The resignation of the 9th president of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian from the parliament of Tabriz, Tufargan (Azershahr) and Usku cities will be discussed at the open session of the parliament on July 31.

Axar.az reports that Mujtaba Yousefi, a member of the board of the parliament, said this.

He said that it is against the country's constitution that Masoud Pezeshkian remains a member of parliament because he was elected president.

It should be noted that Masoud Pezeshkian was elected the 9th president of Iran after collecting 16.384 million (53.6%) votes in the second round of presidential elections held in Iran on July 5.
