On July 9, security officers arrested Hadi Zahiri, a Norwegian citizen, in Ushnu (Ushnaviya) of West Azerbaijan province and took him to an unknown place.

Axar.az reports that human rights activists have released information about this.

It was reported that Hadi Zairi, who has been living in Norway for 17 years, returned to Iran to see his family. A few days ago, he was called to the security office, interrogated, and his, his wife's and two children's passports were confiscated.

It was not possible to obtain information about where he was detained and what he was accused of.
