As the initiator of the main elements of the peace process with Armenia, Azerbaijan is an interested party in establishing peace and stability in the region.

Axar.az reports with reference to Report that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this in a meeting with Javier Colomina, the special representative of the NATO Secretary General for the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Speaking about the current security situation in the region in the post-conflict period, J. Bayramov drew attention to the fact that Armenia continues to threaten civilians with mines, and that this country is rapidly arming itself.

Despite the significant progress on the draft peace agreement, he mentioned the existence of claims against the territorial authority and sovereignty of Azerbaijan in the constitution of Armenia.
