The head of the Political Bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had a telephone conversation.
Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement of Hamas published on the movement's official Telegram channel.
During the telephone conversation, Haniyeh said that in the recent statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he proposed new conditions for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
The head of the Hamas Political Bureau noted that Israel's recent attacks on Khan Yunis and al-Shati region took place despite the constructive position of Hamas and resistance groups regarding the ceasefire negotiations.
"However, during his latest statements, Netanyahu put forward new conditions that were not included in the mediated proposals of the parties," he said.
