A diplomatic solution will be attempted to end the Ukraine-Russia war, and both sides are currently preparing for talks.

Axar.az reports that Daniel Sheligovski, the head of the Eastern program of the Polish Institute of International Relations, said this in an interview with "Kyiv Post".

"In my opinion, an attempt will be made to resolve this conflict diplomatically. Now we are on the verge of negotiations, both Ukraine and Russia are preparing. This is mainly related to the upcoming presidential elections in the United States. Both sides are building international coalitions that support the vision of ending the war," - he said.

According to him, both sides will try to strengthen their positions in the near future.
