The information spread in the American media that Iran may be involved in the assassination attempt on Donald Trump is a white lie.

Axar.az reports that Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, wrote about this on the Telegram channel.

"I would like to inform you that it was the United States that regularly eliminated the state, political and public figures of Iran. And not only Iranians," Zakharova said.

It should be recalled that CNN, citing intelligence, announced that Iran has plans to assassinate Trump. The Iranian side rejected these allegations.
