Lukashenko fired the deputy defense minister

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has appointed Major General Alexander Naumenko as the Deputy Minister of Defense.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the President released information about this.

Major-General Andrey Zhuk was released from his position due to his age and sent to the reserve.

Until now, Naumenko has held the position of the commander of the North-West Operational Command of the Armed Forces.
