The West is pressuring Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán over his settlement plan in Ukraine, which is why they are trying to oust the country from the European Union (EU) presidency.
Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this.
"Last week, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was our guest. After the meeting, he said he will have dinner with Donald Trump. At that time, the NATO summit was held. The next day, Orbán began to be heavily criticized, including for his visit to Moscow. Mr Orbán visited China and was similarly criticized. He also participated in the meeting held in Shusha and was criticized again," said the Turkish leader.
"Now they are trying to think of ways to remove Hungary from the EU presidency. Now we have to be patient. I hope that with this kind of patience, we will do everything necessary together when the time comes," Erdogan said.
