The war may end this year - Zelensky

The hot stage of the war in Ukraine may end before the end of this year without the return of the occupied territories by force.

Axar.az reports that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his statement to the BBC.

He said that Ukraine is preparing a response plan to be offered to Russia:

"If we are united and follow the format of the Peace Summit, for example, we can end the hot phase of the war. We can try to do it by the end of this year. The plan will be ready in any case. But the plan must be agreed with the partners."
