Project documents for the construction of a dam on the Araz River are in the process of being agreed with Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Territorial Management and Infrastructure of Armenia has released information about this.

"Regarding the construction of a dam in the territory of Burastan (Karahamzali) and Araksavan (Sabunchu) communities in order to return the Araz River to its previous course, the project documents are in the process of being agreed with the Turkish side," the information stated.
