Statement from JDP regarding Erdogan-Assad meeting

Preparations are underway for the meeting between the presidents of Turkiye and Syria - Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bashar Assad, but the time and place of the meeting are not yet known.

Axar.az reports that the spokesman of Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (JDP) Omar Celik said this.

"So far, there is no calendar regarding the place and date of the meeting. Russian President Volodymyr Putin wants to organize a meeting. The special services periodically work on the preparation of the meeting," Celik said.
