Washington intends to support Yerevan

By appointing a representative to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Washington intends to support Yerevan in improving its security management. This, in turn, will help strengthen Armenian-American relations.

Axar.az reports that the US embassy in Armenia has released information about this.

"The civilian consultant is not funded by the US Armed Forces or the Department of Defense. Funding is provided by the State Department and the adviser will help strengthen Armenia's defense institutions. He will work in Armenia and have regular business relations with the embassy and the Ministry of Defense. The selection of the civil adviser has been completed and he will start work at the end of this year," the information said.
