Kamala Harris defended Israel bombing Lebanon

Washington is looking for diplomatic solutions to stop the attacks.

Axar.az reports that Kamala Harris, the vice-president of the United States and candidate for the presidency, said these words in her statement regarding Israel's recent attacks on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

"I want to touch on what has happened in the Middle East in recent hours and I want to say very clearly that Israel has the right to defend itself. We know that Israel has the right to defend itself against a terrorist group, and Hezbollah is one of them.

However, despite all this, we must work on a diplomatic solution to stop these attacks, and we will continue this work," the US vice president emphasized.

It should be noted that according to the latest information, 3 people were killed and 74 people were injured in the attack on Beirut.
