Wayanad diaster; toll 282, over 200 still missing

The full extent of the devastation caused by the landslides that nearly obliterated the entire Mundakkai settlement, along with two nearby villages, became increasingly clear on Wednesday.

Axar.az reports that the death toll has tragically risen to 276, with expectations that this number may climb further as rescue operations continue. Over 200 people have been reported injured, with many suffering from serious injuries.
The Kerala government has confirmed that 227 people are still missing, leaving families and communities in anguish as they await news of their loved ones.
