Zelensky on the advancement of Russian troops

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the main reasons for the continuation and strengthening of Russian troops' offensive in the east.

Axar.az reports that he said this in an interview with "Le Monde" newspaper.

"There are several reasons for this. We have prepared 14 brigades, it is no longer a secret. We wanted to equip brigades that give the soldiers the opportunity to rest and strengthen, protect our territory and organize rotations. If only three of the 14 brigades are equipped, can we stop the Russians? The second reason is that the Russians are afraid of retreating. .If they retreat, they will be killed. It is senseless to fight without saving one's life.

Russians don't want to think about it. Putin is indifferent, he does not count the dead. The third reason is Ukraine's inability to use Western weapons as it deems necessary. Not using all our weapons to stop the enemy is a serious problem," he said.
