Tensions in the Middle East: the US sent 12 warships

Against the backdrop of Israel's attacks on Beirut and Tehran, the Pentagon sent 12 warships to the Middle East, the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea.

Axar.az reports that the "Washington Post" reported on this with reference to a source in the Pentagon.

"Yesterday, the US aircraft carrier "Theodore Roosevelt" and six destroyers were stationed in the Persian Gulf. A group consisting of three landing ships and two destroyers carrying 4,000 marines and sailors was sent to the Eastern Mediterranean Sea," the information said.
