Hezbollah promised to avenge the commander

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah has promised a strong and effective response to Israel's killing of its military commander last week.

Axar.az reports that Nasrullah said this in a television speech about the killing of the movement's commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut.

Nasrullah said that Hezbollah will act alone or together with its regional allies:

"Regardless of the consequences, the resistance forces will not ignore these Israeli attacks."
