Russia backs Turkiye-Syria talks

Russia supports the normalization of relations between Turkiye and Syria, the development of the negotiation process and the preparation for the meeting of the leaders of the two countries.

Axar.az reports that Mikhail Bogdanov, special representative of the Russian President for Middle East and African countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, said this.

"We support the process of normalization of interstate relations between Turkiye and Syria on the basis of mutual recognition of territorial integrity and sovereignty. We are ready to hold tripartite meetings in Moscow with the participation of representatives of Damascus and Ankara," he said.
