In Russia, the "People Nearby" feature on the Telegram messenger has stopped working for smartphone users on iOS and Android systems.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by TASS news agency.

It is reported that the feature is not available for some users and does not allow finding other nearby messenger users.

Additionally, when the "People Nearby" feature is enabled, other users do not appear. At the same time, the detection of geolocation activated on smartphones does not affect the search capabilities of the messenger via the mobile application in any way.
