Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto explained the delay in delivering the air defense missile systems to Kyiv by citing holidays and weekends.

'I am arguing with Italian companies because I need to deliver the SAMP-T system to Ukraine, and the company responsible for its preparation is on vacation, does not work on Saturdays and Sundays, and also not in the evenings. Meanwhile, Russian, Chinese, and Iranian companies work seven days a week, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day,' he said.

Crosetto noted that Russian, Chinese, and Iranian enterprises operate continuously.
