Grenades seized in Kazakhstan terror raid

The employees of the National Security Committee (NSC) of Kazakhstan have detained 6 individuals suspected of terrorist activities.

Axar.az reports that the NSC's press service has provided this information.

It was reported that as a result of operations carried out in Almaty City, Karaganda, Turkestan, and Ulytau regions, material evidence, including 3 grenades, was discovered and seized from the 6 detainees.

Two of the suspects were previously convicted of robbery and theft.

An investigation has been initiated against the detainees under the charge of promoting terrorism.
