Haniyeh’s murder exposes security lapses

The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's Political Bureau, in the heart of Tehran is a major defeat for the security agencies.

Axar.az reports that former Iranian Interior Minister Abdolvahid Mousavi Lari made these comments.

"Lari stated that the Intelligence Division of the IRGC (SEPAH) and the Ministry of Security have suffered a major defeat due to Haniyeh's assassination. They had predicted such an event but failed to prevent it," Lari said.
