The US does not rule out new restrictions on the country due to the law on "foreign agents" in Georgia.

Axar.az reports that Matthew Miller, head of the press service of the US State Department, noted this.

According to him, the Georgian authorities continue to advance in a direction that causes concern in Washington:

"We are concerned about the application of this law to legal entities that do not want to voluntarily register, including civil organizations and independent media. I do not rule out that further measures will be taken."
