Turkish law enforcement agencies have carried out an operation named "Narkoçelik-37" across 42 provinces in the country.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced this.

The operation, conducted in 42 regions including Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Trabzon, and Antalya, resulted in the seizure of 479 kilograms of narcotic substances and 160,967 pills, and the arrest of 227 traffickers.

The operation involved 1,418 personnel, 12 aircraft, and 37 dogs.
