The Russians sent about 60,000 soldiers to the Kursk region.

Axar.az reports that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with NBC News.

"We did not increase the number of military personnel for the Kursk operation. Because the opinion was different there. One of the goals of the Kursk operation was to gather Russian troops to their stations and territories. Now I can already say this - today about 60 thousand Russian soldiers have gathered there. But because we don't have enough weapons, the Russians pushed us away from some places where we were in trouble," said Zelensky.
