Russian, Turkish MPs to play soccer game?

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has proposed to hold a soccer game between the MPs and government members of Russia and Turkey, the Haber 7 newspaper reported Sept.1.

Reportedly, Cavusoglu briefed his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov about this proposal during a phone conversation with him Aug.31.

A friendly football match was held between Russian and Turkish teams Aug.31. The game ended with a 0-0 score.
