The United States takes Russian President Vladimir Putin's latest statement seriously.

Axar.az informs that John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator of the White House's National Security Council, said this at a briefing.

"We take this very seriously and are constantly monitoring such activities," Kirby said.

It should be noted that yesterday the Russian leader said in a statement that if Ukraine lifts the restrictions on strikes on Russian territory, it will mean nothing more than the direct participation of NATO countries - the United States and European countries in the war in Ukraine.
