Putin extends West import embargo for first time

The embargo imposed on agricultural products from Western countries in 2014 was extended for the first time by two years - from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Volodymyr Putin signed the relevant decree.

It should be noted that earlier the mentioned decision was extended for one year, but this time the embargo was applied for two years.
