Israel shifts the "center of gravity" of its military efforts to the north, to the border with Lebanon, and a new phase of the war begins.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

"The center of gravity is shifting to the north. We are transferring forces, resources and energy to the north. I think we are at the beginning of a new phase of this war and we must adapt to it," Gallant stressed.

He noted that the purpose of the military operations in the northern direction is to ensure the safe return of the inhabitants of the settlements in the north to their homes.
