FBI reveals Iranian hackers targeted trump, aided Biden

Iranian hackers stole information from Donald Trump's campaign headquarters and sent it to Joe Biden's campaign.

Axar.az reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and U.S. intelligence services have disclosed this information.

“The hackers voluntarily sent emails containing excerpts of stolen, non-public materials from former President Trump's campaign to individuals associated with President Biden's campaign,” the statement said.

According to the report, all of this occurred in June and July of this year, before Biden withdrew his candidacy.

No one from Biden's campaign staff responded to the email.

It was also reported that since June, Iranian hackers had passed on the information stolen from Trump’s campaign to the U.S. press.

Trump’s campaign press secretary, Caroline Levitt, stated that all of this shows Iran’s intention to help Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.
