Washington optimistic about Gaza ceasefire - Sullivan

Washington still believes that a ceasefire agreement can be reached in the Gaza Strip.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Jake Sullivan, US President's national security assistant.

"I still think it's possible. We're continuing to work with Qatar, Egypt. They're in touch with Hamas. We're in touch with Israel, but for now, we can't offer anything to either side, and that could change in the coming days," Sullivan said. .
