Tokayev signs Turkic countries law

The President of Kazakhstan Gasim-Jomart Tokayev signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the ratification of the Agreement on the creation of a simplified customs corridor between the governments of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (TST)".

Axar.az informs about this with reference to Akorda's press service.

Before that, on September 13, the Senate of Kazakhstan ratified the agreement on the creation of a simplified customs corridor between the TDT countries.

The main purpose of the agreement is to speed up customs operations, reduce the number of required documents and minimize control forms by using a risk management system.

The document is aimed at accelerating the customs control of goods and vehicles between the participating states, which will have a positive effect on the development of international trade.
