Recep Tayyip Erdogan returned to Turkiye without attending a dinner hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden.

Axar.az reports that Turkish media speculate that this may be related to the U.S. support for Israel, but there has been no official statement from Ankara regarding the reason for his absence.

“Erdogan emphasized the Biden administration's support for Israel in his speeches at the UN, and perhaps not attending the dinner is a response to that,” the source states.

It should be noted that the Turkish president had traveled to the U.S. to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
