The Norwegian government is considering the possibility of erecting a fence along its border with Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the country’s Minister of Justice and Public Security, Emilie Enger Mehl.

He noted that several measures are being discussed to enhance border security, including fencing, increasing the number of border guards, and strengthening surveillance.

It is worth mentioning that the land border between the Russian Federation and Norway is approximately 200 km long.
