The founder of the ruling "Georgian Dream" Party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, has revealed plans by foreign forces to erase Georgia from the map and accused the opposition of assisting them.

Axar.az reports that this information was reported by Georgian media.

"Today, everyone can clearly see that this radical force, along with the political, non-governmental, or media entities surrounding it, is pursuing foreign interests and attempting to drag Georgia into the horrors of war.

We cannot afford to make a mistake. Otherwise, the August 2008 war will pale in comparison. Enemy forces intent on erasing Georgia from the map are preparing to do what no conqueror has achieved over the centuries through local agents," he stated.

He did not clarify who he meant by Georgia's foreign enemies.

Regarding the "radical forces," Georgian Dream refers to the former ruling party, the National Movement, and the entire opposition as such.
