In the United States, Republican Senator Marco Rubio, defending presidential candidate Donald Trump, stated that Russia's war against Ukraine should end not with Kyiv's victory, but through negotiations.

Axar.az reports that this information was reported by Politico.

"The reality is that the war in Ukraine will end through negotiations, and Donald Trump wants Kyiv to have more leverage in these talks," Rubio stated.

It is worth noting that Trump himself has openly indicated that he would not fully support Ukraine's objectives, stating that there is a need for negotiations. Additionally, he has twice avoided answering whether he wants Ukraine to win.
