The U.S. Army has signed a contract with the defense company "U.S. Ordnance" for the purchase of M60 machine guns worth approximately $15 million.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by "The War Zone."

It is noted that Washington may transfer these weapons to Ukraine:

“As part of the mysterious agreement, the U.S. Army will acquire an unspecified number of M60E6 and M60E4 machine guns, as well as conversion kits for earlier modifications of the M60. The weapons could be intended for a U.S. foreign ally or partner, such as Ukraine. There is a possibility that the army's new M60 purchases may be part of an upcoming military aid package to Kyiv.”
