Moscow reacts to Yerevan's CSTO freeze

We regret that Armenia has frozen its activities within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

Axar.az reports that Maria Zakharova, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said this.

"We regret that Armenia continues to freeze or boycott its activities within the framework of CSTO. We believe that the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is useful in the security field as well as in the economic field," said M. Zakharova.

It should be noted that earlier the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan stated that his country has frozen its membership in the CSTO and does not intend to return to the previous relations.
